THE TEAM
Asha Patel
A Senior at CHS, Asha Patel co-founded M2Health in 2022. She created the Eating Disorder Awareness Curriculum as her Gold Award Project for Girl Scouts. Asha is on the UCSD Advisory Council for Public Health, part of Unstrumental, an award-winning high school a Cappella group, and has a passion for music and popular voice performance.
Oscar Melendez
A Senior at CHS, Oscar Melendez co-founded M2Health in 2022. He’s a listener at the TeenLine teen suicide hotline, worked in a neuroscience research lab, and has a passion for mental health treatment and neuroscience.
Judah Levi
A Senior at CHS, Judah Levi is the lead web designer that developed and constructed this very website. He enjoys going to the gym, aspires to be a lawyer some day and is proud to be a part of M2Health.
Rayhan Jain
Rayhan is a junior at Calabasas High School. He is excited to be part of the M2Health team and can’t wait to contribute to the nonprofit. He believes that mental health is an important factor in the growth of people, especially for students who are under constant stress. Rayhan is also the vice president of another nonprofit called Meditalks and Thoughts which aims to educate high school students on controversial medical topics.
Nathan Yasharel
Nathan is a hardworking student who attends CHS as a senior and is apart of the outreach. He is a varsity wrestler and captain of the team at school. In his free time he loves to travel and workout. He is excited to be apart of the M2Health Team.
Ava Meyers
Ava is a senior at CHS and our Instagram Manager. She plays a very active role in the community through her various leadership positions. She loves to be creative through digital design and believes promoting positive messages on social media is an important way to spread awareness for mental health!
Dylan Bakhshi
Dylan Bakhshi is a senior at Calabasas High School who enjoys playing and watching various sports, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. He is our other Treasurer. He is extremely excited to be part of M2Health board!
Mia Karnakis
Mia Karnakis, a senior at Calabasas High School, is a music-loving, journalism enthusiast with a passion for musical theater, fashion, reading, writing, and art. Mia is eager to raise awareness about eating disorder stereotypes, mindset, and coping skills. She is part of our Outreach Team and is excited to contribute to the mission of helping others through M2Health!
Victoria Waley
Victoria is super excited to be part of the Workshop Prep team. She loves to play soccer and hang out with her family and friends. She also enjoys traveling to new places around the world. She is looking forward to help spread awareness with M2Health!!
Lia Hendelman
Lia is a a hard working student who loved to travel and read in her free time. She is our Curriculum Developer She also plays basketball for her high school varsity team. She is passionate about studying medicine in the future, and hopes to achieve her goal of becoming a doctor someday. She is excited to be a part of the M2Health team!
Alexandra Farasat
Alex is passionate about drawing and painting, and mainly focuses on portraits. She is our part of our Graphic Design team. She also bakes and like to volunteer and sing at her synagogue. She is on the tennis team at her school.
Natalie Neymark
Natalie Neymark is a senior in high school. In her free time, she loves to spend time in nature such as going to the beach and on bike rides. She also spends most of her time in the dance studio, specifically practicing jazz and tap. Currently, Natalie is the Communications President for her temple youth group and works on sending out weekly texts, and creating Instagram posts and Tik Tok videos. She is excited to be a part of this team and run the Tik Tok page!
Sammi Cloughesy
Sammi is a Senior at Calabasas High School. She is part of our Graphic Design team. She hopes to be a medical researcher in the future and dedicate herself to helping others. She is passionate about the environment and the wellness of future generations. She plays lacrosse and dances at school but enjoys playing the ukulele and traveling in her free time. Her goal is to further awareness of mental health issues that trouble the youth in our community.
Hailey Brooks
Hailey is a Senior at Calabasas High School. She is part of our Workshop Prep team. She is on varsity track and is a dedicated student. She is a passionate researcher and hopes to be a Sports Agent as her career progresses. She prioritizes her family, friends, and is known to be a generous and caring member of the community.
Jay Patel
Jay is a Junior at Calabasas High School, and part of our Workshop Prep Team. Not only does he have a passion for mental health and eating disorders through research and preparing mental health and eating disorder workshops, but he has a passion for sports medicine as a varsity tennis player and medical clinic volunteer. He is also very excited to help other middle schoolers and fellow students raise awareness about mental health and eating disorders through a myriad of workshops.
Jack Moseska
Jack is a Senior at Calabasas High School. He is part of our web design team. He enjoys watching sports and he is a big Dodger fan. Some of Jack’s hobbies is to cook and hang out with his friends.
Siya Porwal
Siya is a sophmore at CHS and is apart of outreach. She loves to dance and is apart of the CHS hip hop team. She also enjoys baking and traveling the world.
Samantha Cohen
Samantha is a senior in high school who is passionate about helping the mentally and physically disabled. She is one of our Treasurers. Her goal is to make this world more accommodating for everyone regardless of their physical or mental abilities. She wants to help people struggling with mental health issues because she understands how debilitating mental health issues can be and knows the significance of support.
Maddie Shapiro
As a junior at Calabasas High School, Maddie is very excited for her first year on the Curriculum Team. Outside of school, she has a passion for soccer and has been captain of her club team for 3 years. She also plays on the varsity soccer team at CHS and would love to incorporate the aspect of sports into the M2Health curriculum. In her free time, Maddie loves to bake, listen to music and hang out with friends!
New Jersey Team
Jason Woska
Jason is a senior at Ranney School, NJ and he is exited to be part of the M2Health team. He loves music and plays varsity golf. He likes spending time with family and friends and is exited to help bring mental health awareness to NJ.
Priscilla Michel
Priscilla is a senior at Ranney School in Tinton falls, NJ. She loves to run track and work out. She also has a passion for helping anyone in need of assistance!
